What is Stuff Mart?
Stuff Mart is our assistance ministry, which provides for the immediate physical needs of our community. Stuff Mart began in January 2012 and is still being developed.
What does Stuff Mart provide?
Stuff Mart provides non-perishable groceries, gently-used clothing, and a limited variety of everyday household supplies. While we don’t have all things on hand, we are often able to provide connections for larger items as well.
How do I request assistance?
Anyone requesting assistance will need to meet with a Millvale Matters team member. Contact us with your need and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours for a meeting. Assistance is neither guaranteed nor immediate, but we strive to meet as many needs as we are able to sustain.
How do I help?
Check out our serving opportunities and our donation needs! We ask that you contact us prior to all donations to ensure we are currently accepting.
** IMPORTANT **
All donations must be in good shape, something you would still wear/use if you had the need. Clothing should not be stained, torn, or missing buttons and shoes not overly worn. Please sort through your items prior to donating to remove anything in poor condition.
What we accept:
- Clothing (all sizes, baby through adult, including maternity)
- Shoes (all sizes, baby through adult)
- Diapers and pullups (all sizes) and wipes
- NEW Personal hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, feminine products, etc)
- Gift cards (grocery stores, medical services, etc)
- Limited household goods (dishes, silverware, blankets, etc)
- Hangers and bins (for storage)
- Non-perishable food
What we DO NOT accept:
- Toys or stuffed animals
- Electronics (computers, TV, etc)
- Undergarments or socks (unless new with tags)
- Books
- Decorations
- Furniture (we may occasionally accept, but ask you to store until needed)
